| Took the advise of many and sprayed her down with WD-40, let it sit. Applied pipe wrench, tapped it with a hammer. Sprayed it down, let it sit, tapped it with hammer.
Progress was nil, at best! 
Went to tactic two!
Applied pipe wrench, aggresively tapped with hammer, slammed with hammer, discarded normal hammer and went with BFH, slammed it repeatedly and what ya know? Out it came!!  Anybody need some useless seat post parts? LOL
