| Is the Lowrance 520C a good GPS and sonar unit that could be recommended for use on Lake Winnebago? We fish strictly for relaxation, for walleye and perch. We fish only Lake Winnebago. Is there a different unit you would recommend? I only have a $700 allowance. The Lowrance units have a choice of many maps. Is there one "must have map" for a walleye fisherman on Winnebago? Which one of these would you recommend?
Optional MapCreate™ USA Topo Accessory Pack, FreedomMaps™, Fishing Hot Spots® Elite, LakeMaster® ProMaps, NauticPath™, and Navionics.
Any information you can give would sure be appreciated. Thanks!

Location: Manitowoc, WI | The 520c is an excellent choice. The 520c is the replacement for the popular 332c. When coupled with the Lakemaster Pro Series MMC for WI you'll have a unit and chip that won't require an upgrade for years to come. I too will be running a 520c this year on my bowmount. |

| If you're only going to fish 'bago, I believe Lakemaster has a chip for just Winnebago and Green Bay. Haven't actually seen it, but heard it is pretty impressive. Not sure how it differs from the Winnebago map on their Wisconsin series chip, maybe someone else knows the difference. |
