| I will be upgrading from my 18' to a larger used boat soon. I have found a few boats that meet my criteria but none with a full windshield. Is it feasible/possible to change from a dual console to a full windshield or add one to a boat without a windshield? With what brands is this possible? Approximate cost? Look out for? Thanks for any help!! |

Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | Gilman, you will really need to contact a dealer with exact year and model of a boat to be able to get the answer you are looking for. |

| The Triton walleye boats if they are a dual console and built after 2001, the
consoles on the boats are the same for the full windshield models as the D/C.
The changeover is realatively simple with the exeption of the holes left by the
previous windshield(s). The cost for filling the holes could be between $200 and $500 depending on finish and number of holes. Why don't you just buy my 06' 202 with the full windshield to make it easy on yourself. Email me if you are interested. [email protected] |

| Thanks for the info! I should have my price on converting a Tundra from a dual console to a full windshield in a day or two. I've been waiting for a couple of weeks. Doesn't look good at this point. With the Tundra you need to get all new consoles and gauges. It also voids the warranty. I may have to add Ranger and Triton into my search criteria. |

| There was a nice Purple Haze Tuffy 1890 Walkthrough at the Milwaukee Muskie Expo this past weekend. Give Worrall a call, and tell him to make you a deal. |

| Is that Tuffy going to be at any shows in the near future? After all of the info I have gleaned from this site, showing some loyalty by at least considering Tuffy is the least I can do. I just hadn't considered Tuffy due to the fact that I don't know anyone personally with a Tuffy. I've never been in one. It certainly wasn't due to anything negative. You also made me think that while I don't know anyone on this site personally I do feel that I am getting advice from very knowledgeable and upstanding people. |

Location: Manitowoc, WI | gilman, by all means, don't leave Tuffy out as a choice of boats. If you are near Appleton WI, the Appleton Boat show is coming up soon and Fort Fremont will probably have one there. If you need a ride in one, just ask. Some of us Tuffy owners would be glad to take you for a ride. |

| gilamn, where do you live? I think Stacker will have an 1890 at the Appleton Show, and mine should be at the Green Bay Sport Show, also in the Madison show next week. I'm not sure where that Purple Haze 1890 is, perhaps at the factory. I will find out. Perhaps I can get some pictures and post. As soon as we get softwater, and you would like a demo, we can get that arranged. |

| I live in Oshkosh which puts me in easy range for Appleton or Green Bay. Heck, for something this important/exciting I would travel to Madison or well beyond! I was kind of targeting used though as I felt that’s where the best value was. |
