Location: Orland Park, IL | I know about hutchies stuff so got a few.
Wanted to pick some up for the dropper on my secret new 3 way (out of 1994 walleye insider). Checked ebay, but lots of saltwater stuff. Did find some older 1 oz but wow, really funky looking.
Anyone has a resource for 1oz or better jigs.? |

| I have a mold for pouring 1.5, 2, and 2.5 oz jigs. The most challenging, and expensive part was getting hooks for the mold - had to special order, the hooks are rather large - 6/0 and 7/0 hook size.
Anyhoooo, if your all fine with painting them yourself, I could pour a few for ya. I'm not really in a good place as far as painting them. I have put glow on a few, and it's a pretty big piece of 'glow'. These aren't really a high usage item for me. But if your really good at painting them, I'll send ya a few extra to send back to me! pm Kare53bc 'at' yahoo.com
The jig is a 'flat head' design - should be called flat 'sides' design. Below is the do-it mold webpage. Lots of room to put some nice eyes on it. I purchased the mold really for a single high current river location so I could try to get down there. My 1 oz roundheads just float away. I would think the flat side design would be good for current? Last year, water levels were low, with no current. So I have not even tied one on yet.

| Mark,
Gander mountain carries 1 oz. jigs in bulk....best thing I like about them is that they are made on a smaller hook than most 1 oz. jigs. Probably no bigger that a size 1/0. |
