Steve,
You guys are doing an awesome job with the walleye rankings and tournament coverage! Keep up the good work. Will you be at all the tournaments again this year with the daily coverage? Is anyone else amazed how far walleye tournaments have come in the last 10 years?

I need to go fishing!!

Location: Rhinelander
We will be there, with new coverage techniques that will improve the viewing experience many times over. Looking forward to the first event!

That sounds great Steve! I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with. I really enjoy the tournament coverage provided by independent websites sites like Bass Zone and Bass Fan, especially the video stuff that the BZ is doing- it's top notch. Also, big props for the stuff you guys have done in the past. You are still the only site with a rankings system and I was amazed at how many times my wrapped boat appeared on Walleye First last year. I certainly appreciate that and my sponsors do too. What is up with the ranking? I can't find Tom Keenan on the list did'nt he just win angler of the year. Also on the side bar they have a list of anglers with most hits on their name and Mike Peluso is on there but I can't find his name in the ranking list. Maybe I need glasses.

Keenan didn't fish the full tour in 2006, so he does not qualify., he will this year if he fished a full tour.

Occasionally someone will click a bio from a tournament over and over again and it will drive their popularity up. The popularity meter only measures that last 10 days or so, so it will eventually cycle out. I am altering the script to not register multiples within the same session to prevent this happening in the future.

He had to fish the full tour to get angler of the year in 2006.

Yeah, I am a year off, I meant to say 2005. The rankings are comprised of the previous two years of data.
