MARCH 18, 2007 The Walleye Anglers Trail kicked off its 2007 tournament season with the American Marine Walleye Challenge at Genoa, WI March 18, 2007. The weather was clear with a temperature of 21 degrees at launch time but warmed to the mid 40’s during the day. The water conditions were less than ideal with floating ice and very stained. These conditions resulted in a very poor bite. Statistics: # Fish to Scale: 13 Big Fish: 5.70 lbs. Total Weight of all Fish: 37.75 lbs. Average Weight: 2.90 lbs. 1st.
