Location: Rhinelander | It's cold out there.
But the wind is down for yesterday and the temps up. The PWT contestants headed out an hour late today to allow temps to climb a bit, so weigh in will be at 5 PM Central. The entire field will be returning in a single flight.
Lund/Mercury Pro Bob Propst Jr said in a taped interview this morning; "I'm swinging for the fence. This could be a single day event with the weather coming in tomorrow."
30 MPH winds and cold temps are possible for Friday, identical and even worse conditions to those causing the cancellation of Day One.
Toyota Trucks/Evinrude Pro Pat Neu already had a 19" fish in the well when I spoke to him as he fished down a rubble shoreline near the bridge just minutes after Julie sent out the Pros and Co anglers from Cedar Shores Resort.
Watch WalleyeFIRST this morning for new video clips and morning images from Day One.
