Location: Rhinelander | Weather Channel for Chamberlain, SD 8:40 am:
Today, Mostly sunny and cold. High 32 degrees. NW Winds 20 to 30 MPH.
That tells the story.
The PWT advisory council met at 7:30 and Executive Director Jim Kalkofen made the decision to call off day three. Bilge pumps, steering systems, kicker engines, and water pump pitots were frozen on many boats, and with temps below freezing all day and big winds, concerns for the Angler's safety simply ruled the day.

| The wind is howling out there. During the awards ceremony, the Lund flag ripped off it's pole on top of the PWT trailer. It's barely 20 degrees, so wind chill is absolutely brutal. General consensus is cancellation was a very sound move today. |
