| Talked with a manager in the fishing Dept at Scheels in Appleton. He had the newly updated lakemaster ( LKPM-WI - #108-204-Wisconsin ) ProMap card , for my lowrance LMS 520-C .He said it came out in Feb. , it sells for $99.99. He also had a older Greenbay & Winnebago card for $89.99. On the back of the package was a phone # for LEI assessories who distributes it . I called them they said the part # was so new it was not on their list yet but the part # was one of theirs. They checked with sales , they said they have the card in stock ready to ship out. Nobody knew of a newer card for Winnebago . This new #108-204-WI card is for 11,000 WI. lakes & ponds , 394 contain depth conyour lines. 100 WI. lakes are covered with super-high -detail surveyed depth cotoures, including Lake Winnebago ( one foot contour lines ). If anyone knows of a better and newer card that is out or coming out for winnebago , by lakemaster please let me know.
Thanks Big Fish |

| Contacted LakeMaster today. They confirmed that the card #LKPM-WI-108-204 is the newest card out on lake Winnebago & other lakes in WI. The older WInnebago & Greenbay card has the same info for Winnebago , But it dose not have info on 11,000 WI Lakes like the new card. They said the Fox river info may be updated sometime ,but did not have a date or plan when this might happen.

| Lakemaster has a deal right now for $328.00 you get the WI ProMap chip and the new Lowrance H20-C color GPS with power cord. I just got mine last week, and it is awesome. I keep it right in the bathroom and instead of reading, I'm looking at lake maps...

| Jayman- I know you were going to make a comment about marking waypoints for submerged logs in a bowl-shaped lake weren't ya.....
tezz, I thought the $328 (tax and shipping included) was pretty fair, but it sounds like you got a better deal. The cheapest I could find the H20-C was $229 (Cabela's wants $279!!) Have you tried it out in the boat yet? How do you like it?

Location: Menasha, WI | Dave,
I have a monochrome H20 and I love it in the boat. One thing I've heard is that the H20c is hard on batteries. The monochrome is reported to be much better on battery life but it's still not great. If I set the unit on 1 second updates, I only get 4-5 hours off a set of AAs. You can set the updates to 10 seconds or 30 seconds and the batteries last longer but then you sacrifice performance. You may want to rig a cigarette lighter connection off your deep-cells to avoid the battery problem. |

| I already have it set to go with the power cord. I don't know if the non-color unit does this, but mine has a "battery saving mode" where it shuts the bulk of the light off on the screen if no button is pushed for maybe 20-30 seconds. If the power cord is hooked up, it stays on all the time. I was very impressed with the .02 mile zoom. I am anxious to see how accurate the maps and position on the maps is.

| Just purchased one of these for my 520c. How do I get these maps to appear on the unit? When I go to browse files I see the chip but what do I do from there?

| Make sure you are on the GPS map screen, Hit menu once, and selct Map Data. Look on that page for the Navionics Options. Select Lakemaster. It should be listed as Lowrance/MMC.
Here is a pic.
