| AWESOME COVERAGE guys!
I was at the rules meeting to promote the www.AnglersLegacy.org initiative on Tuesday and bot oh boy was that a full house. Great job FLW.
Anyway, the good folks at the NPAA have parntered with the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation and the Anglers' Legacy initiative to promote bringing new people into the sport of fishing and increase the participation in our lagging license sales numbers nationwide.
The NPAA will be hosting a family fishing event prior to the final day weigh-in at each FLW Walleye Tour qualifier. Pros will be there to show beginners of all ages the basics, plus many of the anglers who don't make the Top 10 cut will be there to share tips and help the fight to keep our sport alive and thriving.
These terrific events will also be taking place at the MWC qualifiers throughout the year.
In addition to these events NPAA member Johnnie Candle and Off Shore Tackle will be providing a two day guided trip for two on Devils Lake in North Dakota and Randy Forst, owner of The Great American Inn and Suites www.greatamericaninn.com, will provide two nights lodging for two for one lucky person who will be entered into a random drawing after they take the Anglers' Legacy Pledge.

This is a terrific initiative to stop the downward spirall of sport fishing in the US. To be able to possibly get a couple days fishing and lodging on one of the best fisheries around is just icing on the cake.
