bradley894 Posted 4/12/2007 10:11 AM (#54261) Subject: what happens to the walleye eggs when watertemps are in the 30s water temps in the marshes on the fox and wolf hit 50+ for 3 days and the fish dropped there eggs .. now what happens when the temps are 38 for a couple weeks . ? is this ok for the hatch this year? kinda worried about our lil babeyes. I recall the same thing happening in the early 90's when there was actually Ice on all the backwaters for three days straight but then it warmed up and the hatch turned out great. My guess is it needs to warm up soon. Its been cold now for 10 days since some of those fish have spawned. Just my opinion......
