Location: Rhinelander | The weather looks to improve tomorrow with highs near 50 degrees and partly sunny skies. Winds will be moderate, but not worse than today mid day. Saturday looks to be a bit cooler because of NE winds off the water, but velocities will drop to 8MPH.

Friday
hi: 50 F

Partly Cloudy to Mostly Clear w:19 WNW
rain: 20%
Saturday

Location: Rhinelander | It seemed most of the boats this morning headed toward the big water. Winds are west and moderate, so conditions are going to be rough but bearable, especially with the predicted sunshine this afternoon.
The talk at the docks this morning was about the possibility the big fish will turn on on the big water. A basket of 7 to 9# walleyes like the equaling those caught during prefish would change everything for anyone past the middle of the field. A large portion of the Pros look to be swinging for the fence today.
Stay with WalleyeFIRST for the weigh in at 3 Eastern Time.

Location: Rhinelander | Winds are stronger than forecast earlier, WNW at 20 to 25 MPH. Gusts will be a bit higher. It's looking more and more like the river will be busy this afternoon. |

Location: Rhinelander | The overall weights were off even more today as a cold front moved through the area, but even with a tough bite there were plenty of limits brought to the stage. Hand lining was King today according to most of the Pros.
The Lake was badly muddied as badly stirred up water arrived on the heels of big winds from the front of the weather system moving through the area. Tomorrow looks like a crap shoot on where the dry/rain-snow line will be; it's going to be very close.
The Top Ten is established and will hit the water at 7 AM Eastern tomorrow morning. The weigh in will be a bit later, headquartered out of FLW Sponsor Wal Mart's location close to the landing.
Watch for a late morning report tomorrow; we are headed out on the water at first light to watch some of the action!
Here's your top ten:
1 MARK MERAVY
2 DUSTIN KJELDEN
3 JOSHUA VANDERWEIDE
4 KEN SCHOENECKER
5 SCOTT FAIRBAIRN
6 CHRIS GILMAN
7 DEAN KAMINSKI
8 BRIAN WARNER
9 GERRICK MCCOMSEY
10 ERIK FURSETH
