we've finally gotten several nice days this past week and todays temps. close to 50' and sunny skies!
The entire Bay is pretty much ice free with some shifting small flows getting pushed with wind directions.
Noticing some boat traffic today and anxious anglers awaiting to getting out on the water for some possible early perch action.
Several more nice days like this and the Walleyes should definitely start their spawning in the area rivers and shoals.
Pretty neat "watch" if you haven't ever seen this after darkness sets in.
Manistque River and a good run of Steelhead is being reported from a fellow fisherman as well fish being seen in the upper Days River in the gravel/sand areas of which they love to travel too.
Action been both on yarn hooks and spawn...
Keep in touch fisherman and just a bit over a month before the "opening-day" of the Walleye Season!
