Awhile ago we had a great discussion regarding the release of players names on the PWT and FLW tour prior to 5 mins before weigh-in. I would like to take a moment to hand it out to the PWT. They responded and the names were out at least 2 days before the event. It is good to see that they responded so fast.

Here is a good reason for the list. Did anyone catch the fact that John Bergsma is listed as a AMATURE. Is he really fishing the am side? Just good scuttle butt before the event. Keeps it interesting.

Thanks PWT for leading the way!!

John is fishing the regionals as an amateur, but is fishing the Super Pros as a Pro. He said he did not have the time to get away for prefishing for all of the regionals, so he thought he would have some fun and learn a few things as an amateur on the regional side.

Just so you know.

Yep, that is what he said on stage on wednesday. He actually talked more than the pro did. Thats bergsma!! How would you like to draw a ex-championship winner as your amature?

No thanks... I put too much pressure on myself to start with. Last thing I'd want is someone with his credetials as the AM.

Now if I were the AM and I drew a guy like that - sweet!
