What pitch kicker props work the best on a 9.9. I have a stock one that is just to agresive. I know some guys run a different prop, What are they and where can I find one?

I assume that you have a 3-blade, 9 pitch on now? I had one of them and went down to a 4-blade, 6 pitch. Made a pretty big difference on my boat. Now I can get down as slow as I want for dragging harnesses. It gives you better speed control pulling cranks too. Any Merc dealer can get you one. I think I paid around $115. (Top end is 4.7MPH now though)

I got mine from Mertens in Oshkosh, I highly recommend them. The guy know more about props than anyone I have ever met. $95.

I'll second the recommendation for Mertens.

If you want to slow down, simply lift the kicker up in the water. That way you still have the speed if you want it. Does work well.
