Watch for the morning report to post around 8 AM.

If the League event Saturday there was any indication, there will be some good weights. Weather looks pretty good for the 4 days, with mild temps and no big storms in the forecast. Stable weather and seasonal fish movements could translate into a very large winning weight!

That weight supposedly came from Pool 5, which the majority of pros are unfamiliar with, except for locals like Fluekiger (is he fishing this year?) who grew up on it, and Nascak, who knows it fairly well, having grown up 2 pools to the south.

The flow and stage are low for this time of year; flow has dropped 10,000 CFS and the stage around a foot in the past week. Jungwirth caught those fish in and near backwater cuts, which the fish were vacating due to the drop in water level, and he only has six bites all day. A tentative bite to wager a tournament on when you need three days worth of fish. He also mentioned that prior to the tournament he felt he would be a hero or zero on that pattern he was on.

It will be interesting to see what happens, that is for sure.
