The wingdams are heating up. At least some of them are. One in particular yielded some very fine fishing today. Jointed shad raps in natural pattern was hot, hot, hot for about an hour or so later in the the day towards evening today. Biggest fish cpr at 23.5". Go get em.

UPDATE

Hooked half a dozen walleyes 4 legal size biggest 19". Fished for 3 hours all fish released. Water is cleaning up nicely. Trolling in sloughs brought 5 fish to the boat. We got 3 on the first pass including a double! Regular shad raps and the jointed ones worked best. Also got one legal eye casting on a wingdam. Trolling speeds between 2.0 and 2.4 mph. Fish were in 7-12 feet. Wingdam bite should be looking better and better everyday.
