Location: Manitowoc, WI | Well, whether you like this decision or not, it was the right decision. Sonny Reynolds and Mark Dorn put angler's safety first, moving this tourney. Large ice flows are starting out of Lake Huron and Lake St. Clair, so it was the right move.
Just wish they would have considered putting this one off till, say, July. A move to Saginaw Bay would have been popular. I think they're going to lose a good portion of their field due to this change. | |

Location: Chicago IL. | I have a gnwc tourney next sunday on the IL river, I was hopeing for a nice relaxing tourney after last weekends madhouse with 3 tourneys and mwc boys prefishing. Well I guess thats out now with the rcl boys in town now. Poor sauger,they have been getting spanked pretty good for 3 weeks now by 500 boats a day.We are getting some rain now to get things going. Should be awsome for the rcl as far as the bite goes. The mwc boys are finding fish scattered all over as we are way short on rain/snow for the year.Good luck on the river,John | |
