Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | Just wanted to take a moment and tell everyone about a product I have bought and found works really well. I bought the pack of 8 E-Cell batteries and the charger. It cost me 24.95 at scheels. I chargered all 8 and started using them, the first 2 charges seemed to last as long as a regular battery (aa) that you would normally get. After that, I was amazed at how long they worked. I set a flash light at the house and it burned for 8 hours, at full juice before shutting down. I went on one set of batterys for over 12 hours in my hand held H2O.
I do not sell them, thus, no monetary advantage for me, just letting everyone know of something I have found that works, and works better than what I was using. | |

Location: upper michigan | now on the other hand the problem that I had with the E cell is when they are in a device that is not used for a couple weeks the batteries do not last long at all when you resume use. I switched back to good ol copper tops. | |

Location: Rhinelander | I sure don't see that problem with mine. I have them in my tip up lights, cap lights, a couple flashlights, and a digital camera. Several are in ourm outdoor lighting. I charged the cap lights once this winter, and the tip up lights once. Still working fine. Camera is about three times the use of alkaline. AND, I can leave them in the charger plugged in indefinitely, so as I start night fishing this summer, I'll always have freshly charged cells. | |

Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | Butch, I agree with you. That is exactly what I found as well, ON THE FIRST TWO CHARGES of a set,2, batteries. After that, I was amazed at the time I was getting out of them and the readiness of them when I was, as well as the ability to recharge quickly. I dont use my handheld much, and they are always ready when I am. In fact, yesterday morning I was putting on my bibs and there was a light in my pocket, my flash light came on, not sure when, but I use that only when hunting or fishing and with work that just isnt enough, and they were still fresh, and I know its been over 2 weeks since I had it turned on. Thats what I found.

Location: Appleton wi | I totally agree with steve and denny. The e cell batteries should be charged and discharged atleast 2x before you can expect to reach max capacity or duration. The lenth of charge far exceeds any typical batterie once you complete the intial charging and discharging as mentioned above. | |
