Jason Przekurat spent most of the event casting jigs at one tree. The repetitive strategy worked!

Mr. Pzrekurat pitched jigs into heavy cover to weigh 30.06 the final day and 89.94 pounds to take home a check for $100,000.00. Nick Johnson weighed 12.13 and a total 69.13 for second, just enough to hold off a hard charging Chris Gilman, who weighed in 20.69 and 68.25 for third. McGillivary, Provost, Fairbairn, Snow, Franklin, Marx, and Seyka rounded out the top ten.

Phillip Milliser Jr took top Co Angler honors and a check for $10,000.00

Congatulations to Jason and to Scott Fairbairn whom I had the pleasure of fishing with on Friday. Not sure he was going to make the cut until our last fish we caught in his spot at 2:55! A fat 21"Sauger! Took a huge monkey off his back! Thnaks Scott for putting up with me and all my questions!

Thanks for the coverage.........great job!

For future events is there anyway to add "captions" to your photo's?
Most people know who everybody is, but I don't have a clue.

Thanks again!

Sure, we can caption the images in the message board reports. Not the galleries, though, that would be a huge project. You will find that the images follow the order of the report, if that helps.

Well, I had a great time at Red Wing. The townspeople were fantastic and very friendly and hospitable. Ike's Bait shop was a very good host for pork sandwiches Wednesday night. The Hager Heights Chicken was one of the high points.. had it twice for lunch and Mark Komo had it a third time, on the boat the next day... I can't say enough about how well run these FLW events are... The whole FLW crew is like a WELL OILED MACHINE...

A special thanks to my boaters, Rich Zachowski, Steve Vande Mark, and Eric Olson. Each one of you provided me with a great day on the water. Finally, thanks to an old friend Bernie Barringer for a great day on the water Monday... I only wish I could have been more help in developing a pattern...

And, I don't want to forget the boaters who helped my good friend and travel partner, Dennis Bennett, finish in 9th place... awesome finish for him and without the boaters he would not have had the opportunity. I got to spend a little time with his 4th day boater, Don Marx, a very capable young fisherman... In my opinion you are going to see him on the podium in the final day a lot more than once...

Putting a face with a name was fun, Joe and Lamar... finally meeting you guys was a treat. I just had a plain and simple great time the past week. We are all so lucky to get to enjoy our sport in so many ways.. I feel I made a few more friends, as always. And, Steve Worrall, putting a face with a name was especially sweet... You folks here at WF does so much for us... Thanks...awesome coverage...
