First, it was great to meet a bunch of other WFers, M_komo (aka Fried Chicken), the Stadler Bros., HGMeyer, Mr Darboy, and Zach. Congrats Dave on the nice finish. If you didn't see the league standings, you're now in 5th.

Second, thanks to my boater, Adam Rasmussen. A man of few words but lots of talent. Adam put us on some decent fish early in the morning and worked like crazy to catch us fish throughout the day. We started pulling harnesses in the mud and had 10 fish with five 17"-19" on our first pass. Counting on the hot bite to continue, those fish went back in hopes of some bigger fish to come. Ooops. Then the first storm passed and the bite died. After a while we switched to cranks and with lots of effort and quite a few 10"-13" fish, we managed to piece together a five fish basket for 7#3oz.

Finally, I want to thank Shep for the fantastic day pre-fishing on Thursday. Shep's a lot of fun in the boat and we couldn't really do anything wrong that day. I'm just glad I caught enough fish so he had to stop tellin' me, "I'm kickin' your a$$"

Thanks Viking, and it was nice meeting you in person as well. I was fortunate in both tournaments so far to draw great co's. Both young guys fishing their first FLW tournaments and hopefully they are hooked now. We lost no fish in either tournament at the boat which is what I feared the most going into them. Green Bay will be a blast, I'll give it my best shot, but the guys in front of me have a pretty good lead.

Hey, Shep, thanks for "dumping" me in on saturday morning. Sure made things easier.

Thanks to my Co-angler Mike Meyer, had a fun day on the water.

No problem, Jayman. I was just waiting for my co, who was supposed to be there to dump me in at 5:45. Instead, he got his friend launched, and didn't bother to call me and say he was at Wolf River Resort on the docks, waiting for me.

I once fished with Adam Rasmussen. I can recommend one thing. Bring a radio! Give that man a few drinks and can he sing like Willy Nelson. No drinks and he is like a church mouse. Pretty good fisherman though. He has a little honey now, which keeps him pretty busy. Heard he just got an apartment and talking about settling down. "WOW" I can see a Ranger up for sale soon to pay for that big engagement ring.

Yep, met plenty of great wf'ers. My boater was very good. Good sense of humor, great skills. Learned a few things, which is nice. Fished the macks the next day, so a bit apprehensive. I am convinced good fisherman sometimes have not so good days. Funny thing though, weather pattern the same or sure seemed like it. No worries, 2 for 2 on the boaters, with 1, hopefully, 2 to go.

Seen Macguire, the Tuffy guy, a boater I was paired not once, but twice. You know my message karma and chicken. He now refers to the Reef Runner Fried Chicken as the komo. Now thats class.

Chicken reports. Fin and feather fried chicken, so so. Liked the redfish better. So, WCL, World Chicken League reporting the follow:

Fin and feather: 5.5
Wells: 6
Hager City: 8.7
Pipe Express .9.1

Our next event will be Oconto.

We are lookin for field editors. Please, restrict reports to FLW League Sites.

Signed, WCL Director of Tour Consumption, M_komo
