| I have a 2060 with a 225 pro XS, I currently have a 21p 3 blade laser2 prop, I seem to have a decent hole shot but my top end seems to be lacking, I'm new to the big motor console boat since I ran a tiller before, what should my top speed be for this boat? and at what rpm? My top speed is around 54 mph on the gps, around 5600rpm, does that sound right? Also, I have a problem getting the boat up to the front winch while loading it, I've had bunk trailers before and never had this problem, the seems to stop about a foot short of the front winch, and won't drive up any further, I've been winching it up the rest of the way but can't get it up close enough to the roller. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks, Scott | |

| Definitly not a Laser 2, try a Tempest 21 or a Rev 4 21, I am runnig a 1890 with 200 and use a Rev 4
You should be able to tap 60mph

| Like he said, go with a 21 tempest, or if you're looking for better rough water performance, go with a 21 or 19p Revolution4. And as far as it not loading on all the way, no offense, but just back the trailer in farther than you usually do. | |

| I'm running a 21 Rev 4 on my 2060, 225. Love the performance in rough water with that prop. The boat handles very well and the prop really grabs the water. I'm probably sacrificing some speed with that prop over a 3 blade, but I bought the boat for it's rough water performance, not to outrun everybody. Would like to try a 19 Rev 4 as I am only turning about 52-5300 rpms depending on the load. Would also like to give a 21 Tempest a try, just to see what kind of speed I have at my disposal. If I get a break from work and fishing, I would sure like to try some different props. | |
