Location: Oshkosh | Being Father's Day next weekend, I always get the task of taking out my father-in-law on the water. Of course, 3 others have to go as well to make it a guy's day out on the water. 5 guys in an 18' boat gets a little crowded. Rather than try to get too fancy with the trolling set-ups, I think doing some simple jigging or bobbering refs might be the best way to go. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where we could pick up some fish? I haven't been out on the big lake at all this years yet, so I am behind the 8-ball on this. I'm not looking for monsters, just some decent eaters.
Thanks in advance,

| Mark- You should have no trouble getting on fish. Find some dirty water, find a rock, throw a nightcralwer on it, catch walleye. I was out Saturday near Garlic with my friend and our kids just fun fishing. My first three spots were ocupied so we found a little hump that really didn't even look that great to me and still caught a ton of fish. We have had similar results every time out this year. Not huge fish, but plenty of them. West side is pretty clear right now, so we fished a little deeper (10'). No visible VHS on any of our walleye. Crawlers and leeches worked, but our bigger fish all came on leeches. You will have more of a challege fishing with 5 guys in a boat than finiding walleye. Good luck-
