Location: Rhinelander | I will miss him. I worked with Gary when I was with Skeeter, and forged a friendship over the years. He was a top notch angler and a very nice man. Fishing lost a true ambassador today.

My last email conversation with him was some months ago as I was getting ready for this season... He seemed reflective and moving beyond this world in hs thoughts. What a tremendous talent and he will not soon be forgotten. |

Location: LaCrosse, WI | I was only fortunate enough to meet Mr. Gray twice. Both times will go down as shining moments in my life. It's not often you get to meet an icon who also happens to be one of the nicest people you could ever ask to meet. My prayers are with Garys family and friends.
Not only will we miss one of the best people involved in Walleye fishing, we'll miss one of the most top notch people that many of us have ever met anywhere. |

| My thoughts and prayers are with Gary and his family. Gary was a GREAT fisherman. Hands down, one of the best fisherman in the Lake Winnebago area for sure. A couple years ago he took a couple young tournament anglers under his wing. Not many people would take the time to do that. He really put a lot of focus on getting more and more kids into the sport of fishing the last couple years. I will miss talking to him at tournament weigh-ins. Now he can watch all the tournament weigh-ins he wants.

Location: Neenah, WI | Even on this sad occasion, I can't help but smile a little as I remember Gary. I was lucky enough to fish with Gary when he won the PWT at Erie in '98. With that and the many conversations he had with Ginny and me, he made us better anglers. Several years ago we were struggling in the Otter St. tourney and Gary told us to follow him out. We just couldn't do that but I wished later that we would have.
Gary's contributions to our sport and to the community were huge. He'll be missed tremendously.
The battle's over for ya Gary. Rest in Peace.
We hope you're goin' fishin with Norbie.
