Seems a bit early for the bloom to me.

Was attacked by white flies yesterday in the mud. Little black flies today.

The white flies were tastier!!!

Komo- If it doesn't look like an Alfred Hitchkock movie, it ain't good!!!!!! Just keep trolling along and enjoy the tickles. It's a good idea to have a clean shirt along too!!!!!!!!!

Was going to pull up the trolling motor and use it to blow some flies away. My shirt looked like it was spotted from dead flies on it.

Didnt think they were this thick before. Dont get me wrong. Flies and fishing go together. But it was evil, combined with that hot sun.

He had to feed the dragonflies, bats, swallows and purple martins, ect.

But in reality he probably didn't, they were in the water as "blood worms", feeding the strugeon.

they have been out there thick for a almost a week now. it sucks , i did go shallow and there was a breeze and it wasnt bad. but the fish were all 12 inches in the three spots i fished ( east shore). oh well .. this heat will get the eyes in the sturgion bay aria goin.. there is a bright side for you die hards. and there is always the big lake for a day of salmon slammin.. havent been out there yet, maybe tomorrow , day off .. but i think im skipping bago this week. after twice a week for the last 4 months im ready for a day on the shore of some crappy river with a lawn chair and a cold one... looking at some good carp action before the weeds get thick.. maybe a brewer game on the radio a good fising buddy to talk about old war stories from the last tournament , lotsa cotton handed out to me after that beating. oh ya and a great big sandwich or have a piza delivered for shore lunch.
