I was at the senior open today talking to a couple of caddis that got week gigs, wow what a passion these guys have, and their pros are not much different. The superstition, good luck charms and the crap in their heads is amazing. There really isn't much difference in the verosity or tennacity they have compared to some of the fisherman I know. We are VERY much alike!

The circuit is interesting and the sponsors are crazy! The community is consumed and 10's of thousands will come to enjoy! Every corner for miles around had state troopers (traffic I suppose but who foots that bill) and the media was amazing! The only difference I saw were the number of High end vehicles in the parking lots! and the price differences for Beer and Merchandise!

Good luck

Yep, its a frenzy alright.

They got this competition in illois where its an 18 hole, 1 club (7 iron), fishing pole sprint. You get scored by score, time to complete, and all the fish laid end to end. So, 20-6 inch bluegills are worth just as much as 6 20-inch bass. Lots of ultralights come whipping out as well as that chunk of corn for that fat carp.
