Does anyone have information on how the bite is going on CASS? My Brother is leaving Friday 7/27 for his first trip up with his inlaws. Seeing their tactics and rig has made him a little gun shy. NOT MANY OPTIONS.
If you know what I mean!!!!

Any help would be appreciated.

Are they on Cass? If he wants to go a little west, Lake Bemidji is good

He is specifically on Cass.
Apparently they have rented the same cabin on this lake for 15 years.

See if you can get ahold of Chad Benson, a great guy and guide up there. He does perch and walleye.

Lots of rigging with leeches. 8 foot lead, snelled hook and bullet weights. Trolling at dusk with shad raps on the points is pretty good too.

Thanks for the info. I only wish that I was heading up with him as well.
But my trips have been limited day trips to Bago, and PW this year.
