Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | That was an exciting finish. I look forward to seeing it on TV to see all of the suspense. WOW, right down to the wire. Congratulations to Bill St. Peter for a great win. Gary Parson’s and Keith Kavajecz sure had a great come back after day one.
Anyone know the story behind David A. Andersen? A great day one and three but a zero on day two. Was he late or something? Gotta be a story there?

| Great finish guys, Any word on the presentations for the winners or anyone in the top with big fish? Mid summer patterns are hard to figure out for big fish!
Good Luck

Location: Stevens Point, WI | Yes, Dave Anderson's starter battery was dead on day two and unfortunately he was not able to get his catch back with another pro in time to save any of his weight. But yes, he had a great day one and three. |

Location: Manitowoc, WI | Just got off the phone with Dave. He gave me permission to elaborate on his day 2 misfortunes. I won't go into all the details for fear of misstating something. With about 10 to 15 minutes left to go on day 2, and about a mile away from the weigh in site, Dave went to start his main motor and not even a beep. He tried the trolling motor battery and still nothing. After a minute or two of him and his co trying to flag down passing boats unsuccessfully, he got on the horn to the PWT. He finally reached them and told them he needed someone to come out and get his co and his fish. He had a 5 fish limit weighing at least 8 lbs. Still having time to weigh, the unknown somebody came out to retrieve his co and his basket. During the transfer of fish and co to the arriving boat, the co took an unexpected dip in the lake. After all was said and done, they made it back to the weigh in 2 minutes late. The PWT decided not to allow Dave's weight. Dave told me that several pro's told him that his weight should have counted due to him doing the right thing and calling in and also placing the safety of his co first. Wow! This was about a $10K loss for Dave. Dave was in good spirits while I was talking to him. As always, Dave is, and always will be, the type to put this aside and look forward to the next event. Kudos to you Dave. I am proud to have a friend like you. Wishing you all the best in the future. See you at Bay De Noc! |

You won't have to wait very long...

| Dave is a great competitor, and has to understand that if you are late, you are late. Whether it's done right or not has nothing to do with the rules. This was truly unfortunate for a great guy and a great angler, but breakdowns happen all the time and frequently cost the Pro and Co their weight for the day. Some times another angler picks up the Co and fish in time, sometimes not. Doesn't matter what the circumstances, the right call was made if the basket crossed the line late. |

Sunshine;
You won't have to wait very long...
I won't have to wait long to be crushed?
I won't have to wait long for the TV show?
I won't have to wait long for additional coverage from WF?
You got me waiting and puzzled?
