| Hi all,
Hoping someone might be able to answer this for me. I recently purchased a pair of these small divers. On the package it says it dives 1 foot for every 2 feet of line up to 30'. Is this accurate?
I had 60 feet out and accidentally ran over some structure that was only 18' deep...was expecting a hangup but seemed to clear it just fine...problem being that I'm guessing the 2:1 rule isn't quite on the money.
Anyone using these, any comments? | |

| West side, A lot of it depends on what you're pulling behind the mini disc. I've pulled small sticks, spoons, and crawler harnesess (size 6 blades) behind them.
The spoons will have the least amount of resistence and are probably the closest to the 2:1 ratio. Sticks would be next for least resistance (pulling Junior T-sticks). And the harness having the most resistance. Speed is also a factor. I started out fast and kept slowing down til I connected with fish. 50' back on the corners over 22' of water at 1.5 was getting me fish...I'm guessing at 18-20' down.
