Location: Berlin | The bite is just ok right now and the weather will play a huge role as usual. With the forcast as it stands right now, I say 15.6 lbs. |

Location: DeForest, WI | I agree with Rich.
The weather is going to drop 18* by Friday.
If someone gets lucky and lands 5@22" he/she will be lucky to hit above 16#.
I say 14.2# |

| Plus, the fish are not as chunky right now as they were in June. I'd take my chances with 14 lbs. |

Location: Freedom, WI | You guys are calling for some big weights! From what I have seen lately out there I will be surprised if anyone brings in 5 fish for more than 12.66lbs! Weather will play a big role in this though I am sure. It seems someone always has the right ones dialed in for this event! |

| Ritch, I've got word of the best bite I've heard in a few weeks out on the "big pond". I still like my guess.
Speaking of Big Ponds.......gotta go slam some salmon..... |

Location: Appleton wi | Its defintly not hot and furious on bago but there is some nice fish to be had out there. ( i know for a fact ) i really dont think 15lbs would be considered big weight for bago for this time of year but if it was late aug. i would agree with that.

| Somebody mention White Castle? Sliders? yummmy! Nothing better after a night of beers!
I'll be fishing with an observer. My wussy partner, wolf walleye, got a boo boo on his knee. Said he hurt it on a treadmill. I said, yup, those things are really heavy to move. He said he wasn't moving it, he was using it! I asked how he.... ah, never mind. Then I asked if he was wearing a pink outfit!
So, my goal has changed a bit. 3 lines, I'm looking just to weigh 5 fish. Perhaps I can get 5 like the 19"er I got on Wednesday. A bit on the thin side, but I'll take 5 of them!

Location: in the boat off the east shore somewhere | hey shep dont be afraid one of the best days on the water with my daughter came with only 3 lines.. get them out away from the boat , or 3 slip bobbers should be enough to win... just relax and go fishing.. you have all day to catch five nice ones... hell tell your partner to nut up and get in the boat ,, put him in the chair and make him do all the grinding , you do the rest... or my son is 14 he will jump in with you... he s not fond of trolling , likes to rip lips on the rocks but if you cut him in for 20 % of the winnings he will put you on fish... easy money compared to clipping the lawn.. |

| I was only worried that Jim wouldn't be able to find somone to be an observer Sunday. He did find someone, so I will just fish as I would have, only less three lines. Changes my prefishing a bit, but I feel like I can get a decent bag of fish. I'm just trying to keep us up in the standings where we have a shot going in to Green Bay.
Good luck to all WFers fishing the tourney. See you at the meeting tomorrow evening. |

| Jim,
Another well run tourney. Thanks for letting me play, and for setting me up with Mike, my observer. I had a good time, and hope Mike did to. It must be hard to sit there all day, and not be able to actually fish. The company was actually better than my regular partner! And the result was the same, too. I caught all the fish! We're now sitting 14th in the points, so it was a good day all around.
Congrats to the top 5. Good bags of fish.
