| I had to pull my boat up to the shore and it was shallow, anyway I scuffed the bottom.
This is my first glass boat, how deep do they have to be before I should be concerned?
They are surface but there is one a bit deeper, no glass showing, can they be repaired? |

| Get a gel coat repair kit and just follow directions. A couple of hours and you are all fixed. You have to to go pretty deep to be concerned. |

| mooreyes there is a layer of kevlar on keel of you boat, there are 13 layers of fiberglass on the bottom of your 1890 osprey, i would run your boat this summer and take her in this winter and get the scuff fixed you would have to really put a very deep scratch to be concerned, the gell coat is like paint on a aluminum boat, if there is no glass showing i would not be concerned, nice thing about fiberglass it will look like new when repaired, mike lewis |

| final finish rubbing compound, with a buffing wheel, works really good, make sure you wax your boat after buffing scratches out. i have a few on mine already, they came right out.be careful not to buff too much you will go through gel coat, |

| I think this would make an excellant slide show for the GTG this September. I'll bring the laptop and the projector!
Steve Bendall, when should I come down and get some shots of the process? Road trip! |

Fiberdome used to be a customer of mine, before they went primarily boat!!! NOT A BAD THING!! They are only a half hour from the casa. When you come down let me know. I will meet you in the Mills. Couple good earteries near buy. I'll buy lunch and we can talk fishing.

| Don't think Fiberdome is primarily boat, but no matter. I will be down that way soon. I'll let you know when. Hoping they get in the new building soon. Then I can get the dime tour! I haven't seen the process in a long time. I don't even think they had the 1760 out yet. 18' Rampage was the big boat then.

| maybe Tuffy will host a tour day for interested owners and team members?
it would really help us when we're talking to people about the boats.
