Location: Orland Park, IL | My twin brother (HA!) was out fishing, got a few trolling hot and tots, 16 and 17. As soon as the wind picked up, went rock pile and reef hopping. Look what he found, a nice 23.
Boy was a bit miffed as the 23 beat his personal best this year. Couldnt help it was on the boat.

Location: Menasha, WI | Nice chops Elvis Now the boy will have to get a 24" to beat pops. Something to shoot for.
I got out Sunday evening about 6pm after we got back from a weekend camping trip. Picked up a few small ones (12", 12", & 14") with in the first half hour on the water. Nothing but sheeps and a big ol' catfish after that. Drifting 1/8oz jis w/ half a crawler; orange was the only color that produced. 12'-14' of water.

Location: Orland Park, IL | Yep, thought about shaking it loose, just so the boy would have braggin rights a little longer. Kinda depressing to get him in the boat. I dont know how many times I say I only caught a 19". "Oh so close he says". Or I say I got a 17. "Pppfffft, you didnt beat my 18 1/2. Good times, eh?
We plan on hittin the bay soon. That should get him a good fish. |

Location: Orland Park, IL | Mostly lower bay guy, since its close. Though have made the run farther north.
To get in a the water by 6 and get a space at suamico launch, got to leave by 5. Which means lil jr. is cranky fellow.
Havent tried the later afternoon bite yet, but may, due to timing.
