Location: Gladstone, Michigan 49837 | August 9th, some nice eating walleye's,"
getting on the waters at around 6:30 AM this morning seeing waters temp. at around 73' we began (next door Neighbor, Tom Stone) working water depths south of the Gladstone Harbor.
Although not marking any numbers of fish did see numerous groups of bait fish on the electronics.
Crawler harnesses and floaters worked well just off bottom as catching a good number of undersize walleye between 13 and 14 and 7/8's inches did catch enough for the supper meal fish fry coming up.
Good numbers of tournament boats also were seen today working similar areas.
Over looking this mornings 4 hours of fishing pretty good one and indeed fun as good friends and business associates, Duane Bucklin and Dave Tole from Grand Rapids, Michigan also fished near us also catching some fish.
Winds although shifting and switching through the day still made some very good fishing and fun!
See you on the waters tomorrow and good luck to all,
Marty
