Just wondering if any one is running the new Humminbird color units? I was running Lowrance all of my life and a buddy of mine bought 2 new 787c2i 's last year and just loves them. I bought one this year and and am going to buy another one for next year. Great units. They are so user friendly and any if you have any questions there customer service is great. I had problems with my Lowrances get interference between the too and the Lowrance person said the only way to get rid of it is to turn one off.

I have been using the 787s and the 997 SI unit this year. They are great. I agree with you on the user friendly part. The menus are much less complicated than the Lowrance stuff. I have absolutely no regrets regarding these units and would have no problem recomending them to others.

The GPS part of the unit is is also awesome. The interlink alows sharing of way point but in a totaly different way than Lowrance users are used to. Both units do not have to be on. The data is stored in a little black box.

Any one on the fence, feel free to shoot me an e-mail and we can talk about it.
