Are plans in the works for this event again? It's one of my favorites all year. I think the chili is a big part of it.
Oh yeah, I still have your prop too. Let me know when you'll be around so I can drop it off. |

Location: LaCrosse, WI | It's an awful lot of prop for the rightful owner to not have. I didn't want to just drop it off in front of his house if he wasn't home. They cost way to much to leave sitting out as a temptation for everybody. |

| It's Dan McGuire's old prop.
Len no longer owns the Falling Rock, but we were talking about possibly continuing it somewhere else, possibly Genoa. I'll keep you updated.
Let's try to hook up on Friday on the prop I'm out of town tomorrow.

A few weeks after the new owners took over the Falling Rock, I stopped in for bait. They were redoing the kitchen and some other things... Talked about the "future" and mentioned the tourney... (they were there that day I believe). At that time they said they intended to do it in 2007. So, I guess they have changed their minds, huh? I know the Big River (now some English Pub...go figure) isn't big enough... And I am only familiar with one other bar in Genoa... I don't recall it being very big either... The two bars in Lynsxville aren't big enough either... But, the next town up from Genoa has a place big enough... name escapes me... (And a good fsh fry) and south there is the Spring Lake Inn... (very good fish fry) it also might be big enough. |
