| Panther makes a strap to hold the kicker solid while trailering/motoring in the up position. Adjusts when you install it, and once in a while untill it stops stretching. Then you shouldn't have to mess with it. |

Location: Appleton, WI | Or, send it my way. I can secure it to the back of my rig. LOL. seriously. If you have a merc kicker, and you need a project done, we can work something out. |

| I'll bet Pamp's in Green Bay has one.
Or call them to find out who your local distributor is.

Location: in the boat off the east shore somewhere | i have a panther and a buckle strap works great... and yes always strap your kicker , if you dont have a panther power lift a find a Bracket Pro or something similar ,, but always always strap it.. if you dont have a kicker you can find one at the bottom of lake winnibago somewhere off of calibus reef... thats where my first one ended up... and im sure they are all over the lake if you need one.. fool me once kind of thing... never agian.. strap everything in the boat!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| does anyone know how these straps work on a cmc lift? I've got a cmc, and have been using a rachet strap. It's been working, however I think this panther strap would work better. My only issue is that the cmc lifts the motor much higher than the panther. Any insight would be great. Thanks |

| The Panther strap is adjustable. May get long enough, but I don't know. I suggest you look at one, and maybe determine if it will work for you. Lots of them out there. Look for any Ranger with Evinrudes on it. It will have a Panther lift for the kicker. The boats with newer Mercs and Yammies will have only the Panther static plate. |

Location: in the boat off the east shore somewhere | yes yes listn to shep.. get a good one .. if you get one that lets loose or vibrates loos you will find out the hard way,, that thing will find its way to your big prop and you will break something , you will need a knife and about a half hour to cut it off and it can cause dammage.. spend the extra couple doll hairs up front my freind.. |

| newer mercury kickers will not have a panther lift or a strap but they will have a pro kicker wich has build in strap and one damn good design. i'm glad i dont have to worry about my panther lift breaking or adjusting the starp after so many hours of use. Mercury pro kicker I love!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Location: McFarland, WI | I use a Ram mount to secure the kicker with a CMC lift. The ball is secured to the kicker with U bolts using the flat round mount and the other ball is mounted on the boat next to the splash well. It is a little more cumbersome to release the ball but it is absolutely secure.
