Mother nature is kicking our arses this spring in Michigan. Constant rain, High water levels and 3 day wind storms are keeping Saginaw Bay the color of Coffee with Cream. Finding semi clean water is the key to success, but tough with every feeder stream and river dumping mud stained water into every corner of the Bay. So the usual questions about the best colors to use in these conditions came up rather quickly this year on my fishing board. Some of the best results are coming on the brighter Husky Jerks with like colored spoon sliders 30 inches behind them. I found a very old but at least scientific color chart for what walleyes see best in their environment. Hope it helps.
