Im new to the forum and just bot a 2013 2100 osprey with a pro xs 250. I live in wyoming so im pretty high in elevation right at a mile high. Im currently running a Rev 4 19 pitch that came with the boat. It gets up on plane really quick but my top end speed is only 46-48mph full tank of fuel me and my fishing partner fully tournament loaded, pro 9.9 kicker on starboard side, 36v system. I would just like to know what props you guys run on these boats so i can get it dialed in. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I ran a couple in ND at around 1850' elevation. I ran a 20P rev4 and liked the prop, but it wasn't fast. 54 MPH is as fast as it got. I know of another guy running a 22P bravo and he is getting 1 MPH or so more. The boats are not really a speed hull at all, but do handle the rough stuff well. The supposed "fast ones" must be at lower elevations, or not fully loaded.

Yeah thats why i got the boat was for rough water dry ride and handling. Id just like to see it get to 50-52mph but with a good hole shot. 50mph is plenty fast for me i just want to get up on top of the rough water which i am now. Im getting up on plane almost too quick thats why i was thinking with the right prop id have the best of both worlds. Id be willing to give up a few seconds of hole shot for a bit more speed and call it good. Im pretty sure i have the only Tuffy in wyoming. My buddy had a 2011 1890 but he sold it last fall so theres no one to ask around here. Ill play with a few different props. What kind of RPMs should i be looking for? I was running 5400?

On the Opti, 5750 is the high end RPM if I remember right. The bravo might be a good choiceto try. Could probably go 20-21P. A tempest is just a 3blade Rev4, so that might work too. I am running a YarCraft now and like the rev4 over the bravo on this boat, but they are both good.
