A total of 71 boats headed out this morning to kick off day 1 of the Cabela's National Walleye Tour Championship. The anglers will be allowed to weigh five fish this afternoon with only one of the five having to be over 28'' and the rest must be under 19 1/2''. This is a cull tournament so anglers will have a chance to upgrade their small fish through out the day. Plenty of big fish have been caught during pre fishing over the last few days. The weigh in will be held at Sportsmans Lodge at 3 pm.

Location: Rhinelander | A windy morning made for a bouncy ride for the tournament anglers headed out this morning for day 1 of the NWT on Lake of the woods. Winds tapered off somewhat, as the field fought to land that key fish over 28". Robert Blosser leads the field with 17.75. Stay tuned for interviews and photos as the tournament heads into day 2 and day 3.
