I'm considering switching shimano/st croix to pflueger/fenwick.looking for feedback

While I do like Pflueger gear, I personally wouldn't ever switch to it. My dad runs all Pflueger and I run all Shimano. While we have never had a problem with any of our stuff, I still feel Shimano is much smoother of a reel and feels a bit more stabil and durable.

I can't comment on St. Croix or Fenwick as I am not really of a fan of either. I personally run Tuned Up Custom Rods and have been happy. If I had to pic between croix and Fenny though, I would choose Croix.
