Is there any certain wax that should be used when waxing a fiberglass boat? Or even a better question, any brand I should stay away from? Thanks

I have used these products with good results.

I use Restore at the launch every so often. Helps get those waterspots off when you wipe it down after loading. You do wipe it down after loading, don't you?

Other products I use are Mequire's Marine Wash, and Marine Boat Wax. I do that a couple times a year.

I stay away from automotive cleaner/waxes, like Kit, Turtle, etc. They contain abrasives.

OK, dumb question since I am a new owner (last year) of a fiberglass boat. How often should I wax it? I haven't yet, but do use Skeeter's products every other time I fish. Do I need to be putting a wax on it as well? Thanks for the help!

I have a skeeter and I use some wax called "Liquid Gless" ..can get it at Fleet farm. Use it on the car too...low dust and a great shine with protection. If the boat is really water spotty or has a scum line, plain old toilet bowl cleaner does the job without the cost.
