I am new to the kicker motor seen, but I want to install a 9.9 mercury kicker on my ranger! can someone tell me what is the best way and equipment needed? I have doing some research and have found out about the panther lifts for the kicker.
what would be the cost involved to install one minus the motor cost?

Do you already have the the kicker? If so, the Panther lifts are around $600.

If not, I highly suggest a Mercury ProKicker or a Yamaha T-8. Pick the one that matches your main motor. The power tilt and trim is much better than the Panther Lift. The you might need just the Static mount, or bolt directly to the transom.
