Hi Guys

This morning the river showed its first signs of freeze up. Shells ice was present Friday morning on the edges but the wind made it choppy in the middle. The calm winds last evening allowed the river to "Chunk up" last night. It is not solid but there is enough ice to make it a loud run at moderate speeds in a boat. If the winds stay calm today and tonight, the river may be all but solid by Monday.

Area lakes have experienced ice up over the last few days. There was as much as 3/4" on some duck lakes.

I will keep you updated.

All the lakes and rivers in the North have ice now, many are almost ready for ice fishing.
