OK, I just got the opportunity last week to go "hands on" an 1860 Osprey (thanks to the guy from WY that was visiting Devils Lake ND for giving me a little of your time to look over your boat).

My question is this, I am looking at the 2060, could some one give me the distance from the back ov the drivers console (steering wheel side) to the live well.

After looking at the smaller Osprey, I am very concernd about how much space is in the back of the boat but if the front deck is the same length on both the 1860 and the 2060, and they just added 2 feet in the backside it should be perfect.

Thanks in advance for the help!!!!!

If I told you there is more space than in a 620 Ranger, would that be enough space for you?

I don't know the exact dimensions off hand. Planty of room back there for trolling.

The new 2010 1890 has an additional 6" in the back floor area and it makes a huge difference

Hey Shep,

FYI, The 2007 Ranger 620 has 82 inches from console to the front edge of livewell.

Thank-you Scott, dont know how much they changed but thats a starting point.

Once again if anyone know the length on the new 2060's please post, i'm not worried so much about trolling as I am about 4 novice anglers and me in the boat casting is the worst case scenario when guiding.

Hey Shep,

Consoles way up front. That's why they ride so rough! hehehe JK, Modog.

I didn't say that there was more distance from console to livewell. I said there was more room in the Tuffy. How wide is it between the storage bins on that 620? 40-45". Less floor space in the 620.

Tuffy has shortened the splashwell area on the 2060 and the 1890 starting with the 2009? models. That should add an additional 6" to the dimension from Scott. So 68" should be right.

I've fished 4 in my 1890 casting for Muskies a few times. I put one up front with me, another just in front of the console, and the other on the back. Not the greatest scenario in any boat, but it's workable. You have to stress no sideways casting. Everything goes over the top. I regularly have my boat partner up front with me when casting. That way, we both get fresh water, and it's easier to talk in a normal voice.

I have fished 4 from my 2010 2060 I have the extended splashwell which cuts off the extra 6" that Kirt was talking about I have added an extra butt seat to my boat which makes a huge difference for the people in the back fishing as far as casting and jigging goes. To fish 2 from the front and 2 from the back it is not as crowded as you would think. I did it with 2 kids and a parent so you can imagine the lines that were tangled and flying all around. There is way more open space in a 2060 than you would think compared to the 1890.
