Location: Rhinelander | It is windy out there. And, it's cold, temps at check in were hovering around 40 degrees.. 65 Bago Walleye Club teams left the landing this morning into stiff NE winds. A number headed North, a number headed to the river, and few teams were headed to the upper lakes, so much of the system is in play. Every technique available from pulling Flicker Shads to three ways is reportedly going to be used to try to get a good cold front bite going. Estimates to make the top 5 are 5 pounds, and most said it will take over 20 pounds to win. The bite has been excellent, and most feel even though the cold front will slow things down a bit, that there will be some good weights coming in. Weigh in starts at 3 PM at Menominee Park landing, look for the white Bago Club trailer. Member Posts: 166 Location: Freedom, WI | Congrats to Kurt and Tim on a solid basket in those brutal conditions! Somebody had to knock Jimmy off that leader board for a change! The BWC looks to be a great series with strong competition and a friendly atmosphere, hopefully I will be able to partake in the series next year!

Member Posts: 340 Location: McFarland, WI | We had great fish survival in this event. The Krusher Tackle Survivor livewell intake kept our livewell full even on the brutal ride across the lake reducing that sloshing. We appreciate everyones effort in keeping fish healthy.
