Location: Rhinelander | Lots of hotels in Grand Forks, you shouldn't have a problem. The guys at Woodland will get you on track. We were there several times and did really well just fishing the primary break along the old shoreline weed edge and any road beds we found. Pike were ridiculously easy and big. If you want to catch Pike, bring some muskie spinnerbaits. We had a blast fishing there even though every time we went there we were shooting too many videos for a client and didn't have much time to fish..

Member Posts: 2393 Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | Shep, That technique is not as prevalent as it once was. The great thing about the lake is that average fisherman can fish to their strengths or what they like doing the most. It all works to a certain degree. As Steve indicated, the guys at Woodkands are well connected and will point you in the right direction. Trolling, casting, jigging, slip bobbers, live bait or artificials, it's all there for you.
