Looks like a cold front coming in on Sunday. Windy???? Could affect the weights.

30#+.....I don't recall any green bay MWS Tourney where somebody hasn't pulled 30#+, even when they were held in the river this spring.....good luck

27 pounds won the tournament on the menominee river this spring. 29 pounds and some change won the 2006 May tournament out of GB Metro.

the team that will win, will be a team that gets 4 fish up north.. I predict alot of gas will be burnt. a nice stiff south west wind would make this tourament more interesting and keep the weights low..

Honestly your crazy if your heading past chambers from metro.. but im sure 10% of the field or more will be trying it..

Shep,
Shouldn't you be prefishing for this tourney?
Instead of studying this web page! Just kidding.... hehehehe

Good Luck, hopefully you will have your partner this time.

I prefished last weekend. Did well both days. Went out yesterday, and didn't do so well. OK, I only got two. Medium sized ones. Not going where I want them to go.

I do have wolf walleye back for this one. I need to get four good fish quick, go weigh in, and leave for Moline! Is this thing here already? Not one weekend off this month! I'm going to sleep in October!

Just took a look at the forecast......if the wind and wave conditions are true you can forget the bite up North. It'll be less than 20 lbs to win....just my guess.

I was sitting here as an armchair (tourney fisherman) handing out a jab. Wish I didn't have a charity golf outing tomorrow otherwise I would have fished this as my first mws tourney.

Good luck and safe travels to all.

Yes with Friday's weather it would take less than 20, but Saturday and Sunday look OK for now. Nothing over 8mph. Looks good to me

Upon further review......the weather looks to be better than previously stated. I'll up my total to around 23 lbs for the win.

Hey Shep! Wouldn't it be faster to take 41 South to Moline? LOL!

Someone will put together a 30 lb basket. Hopefully me! Now that's funny!

if that is true i will cry.. i have too many small fish spots that produce no matter what the weather is.. but they are worthless in touraments unless the weather is like this.. i made the decion last week that the winners will be coming from chambers and it will be impossible to compete with those guys.. .. 20lb mark should be broken today.. but i bet 25th for last place in the money will be around 13lb's

26.6 pounds won. 14.3 pounds for 25th place. Looks like Jayman was the closest with hit prediction of 26.4....
