Location: Rhinelander | The cold front definitely moved through last night with winds to northwest and brisk. Temps were in the 40's, and forecast only to get into the low 60's this afternoon. The Top Three going into Day Two all agreed...making the cut is about catching just a couple fish today. Handlining or pole-lining seem to be what was hot yesterday. The top ten cut can be anyone's today. A limit of fish, and especially if someone finds a fish over the slot, would probably move anyone with a fish day one into contention to make the Final Day. Interviews with the top three and morning images will be up soon. The weigh in will begin at 3 PM, join us and listen in LIVE, ask questions, and shoot the breeze on the interactive leaderboard chat. Member Posts: 2445 Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | I did talk to one guy who was fishing by the leader yesterday. He lost one keeper and drew a zero, BUT, He has the program, he was doing the same thing just not PERFECT like the leader. He will be back today hoping for right bites. No doubt, I believe with the front that came through, anyone can make the final 15 saturday with a fair basket.

Member Posts: 2445 Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | Steve may have been misspoken. The league is 15. I really dont think anyone is going to chuck back a fish, do you? This is so tight and it is going to be that way again today. The slot is 15 to 20 and 1 each angler over 27. saugers however have no slot.

Location: Rhinelander | The bite today was indeed tougher under cold front conditions and big winds, but there were fish caught. The weather tomorrow looks a bit better, after a very cold start tomorrow morning in the mid thirties. Winds tomorrow are going to be lighter out of the NE at about 7. Bill Shimota, Dan Krukow, and Don marx weighed three fish each to hold down the top three spots. Jonathan Shoemaker weighed two to drop the fourth, Eric Olson weighed one to hold fifth, Dusty Minke weighed one to take sixth into the final day, Lamarr Van Dame took a consistent three fish to hold seventh, Paul Fallaw took a two pounder to hold down eighth, Tim Fields took 3 today to move into ninth, and Chad Wertepny rounds out the final field holding tenth. Watch for a morning report and interviews tomorrow after 8 MA, and join us for the live Audio and Interactive Leaderboard at 4 PM from the Moline Super Wal Mart parking lot!
