1890 or 2060. Is bigger a better. Favorite spots to fish. The BAY and Bago. Is performance and ride capmparable? is it worth the Extra $$ for the 2060? do you gain that much more storage? Shep ya gonna give me a test ride? Ya gave Wheat one!......Cranky

IF you fish the Bay and Bago exclusively the 2060 is the way to go, it is Tuffy's flagship when it comes to big water angling. It has one of the best rough-water rides in the industry. The storage is the same in both boats. The 2060 has more passenger room and floor space. The 1890 is a very nice alternative if you like more width to your boats and prefer a little bit more compact rig. It all boils down to what your preferences and budget are.

Member Posts: 3899 | If it would fit in my Garage, I think I'd have the 2060, as it does handle GB somewhat better. That said, there wasn't anytime on either GB or Bago, that I wasn't confident in my 1890. And yes, I will give you a test ride in my 1890, and can set it up with a 2060. Let me know when. I'm transitioning into total muskie mode soon, but can do a quick switch to eyes if I have to, for a day.

Member Posts: 2445 Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | Cranky, I have run a 2060 DS for 2 years now. I am also a dealer that has both boats available for test rides. I fish the winnebago/Bay alot. I have fished both bodies of water from both boats. I can tell you that the 2060 is a much more comfortable ride in the chop that we have on those bodies of water. The 90" beam really allows the boat to cut the waves open when they get that unique "Chop" to them. The wider beam on the 1890 offers a different feel when trolling, just a touch more room. I however like the more spacoius cockpit area of the 2060 as I am a troller. I have a demo 2060ds here that can save you thousands on a new one. Let me know if I can help you in any way.
