Brad Menominee is Michigan. Basically anglers must follow the rules for the waters they are fishing. If you are fishing only Wisconsin waters then the Wisconsin rules must be followed. If you are in the slot area then those rules need to be followed, if you are in a area of Michigan without the slot those rules must be followed. Hope this helps

As far as the question of locations for the Championship I am looking at waters we have fished in the past and some new areas and am still taking suggestions. Any thoughts you can put them on this board , e-mail [email protected] or call 920-731-3474

Thanks

i guess i need to look up the michigan rules just was hoping someone could simplify it for me ,,, we are weighing the fish in michigan waters.. im sure i need a michigan licence... but if we fish wisconsin water and weigh in in menomonee just want someone to tell me how it works. i undestand if you fish water with a slot you need to follow that regulation.. but if we went out of gladstone there would be a slot,, if you ran to wisconsin and caugtht 5-8 lb fish and braught them back to gladtone im sure they would be a little worked up,,, i didnt realize that michigan may have a slot north but not down in menomonee ,,, if somone could just simplify this that would be cool otherwise im sure i will look it up eventualy,, just havent ventured too far north for years... thanks brad i have a sugestion for NEXT YEARS CHAMPIONSHIP, all 25 teams book a room at the same hotel the friday before, within 100 miles of the top secret location, then at 4am wake them up and tell them the destination....its only 25 boats so you can fish so many options... lake wisconsin big eue plain, castl rock pettonwell, green, bago the bay , fremont , you name it ,,, heck blind fold them all and drop them in the water and dont let em take the blindfolds off until the starting gun goes off... give them each a lake map and send em out.. that would be cool...

If you fish only Wisconsin waters you do not need a Michigan Lic. provided you go directly to the weigh-in site once you enter Wisconsin waters. Both Michigan and Wisconsin wardens have agreed to this the past couple years. As to the Michigan rules there are different rules for different areas. Best thing I feel is read the rules in the regulation booklet to have the correct information for the area you are fishing.
